Leadership Philosophy

  

"Today's youth is inundated with scholastic and athletic development but the difference between reaching greatness in either will come down to character."

 

While some believe that leaders are born, Future50 holds the belief that leaders are developed. The former belief implies that leadership skills are nothing more than inherent, mystical qualities that one either has or does not have. This view inspires passivity and therefore stunts personal growth. It is the philosophy of Future 50 that through encouragement, education, and active participation young athletes can become influential leaders.

 

Future50 combines insightful and fun leadership workshops with athletic development to help mold young leaders on and off the field. All of the session principles fall under either Character Development, which builds personal qualities conducive to leadership, or Leadership Tool, which are skills that essential for leaders.
